Abstract

|
We isolated membrane proteins from skin and salivary tumors of rats which were induced by DMBA, did polyacrylamide gel(PAG) electrophoresis, double immunodiffusion, immunoelectrophoresis, Western blotting, and alkaline phosphatase-conjugated anti-antibody (APCA) reaction for isolated proteins
When doing PAG electrophoresis for membrane proteins extracted from salivary gland and skin tumors, we found new two protein bands(band a and b) Band a was investigated 69,000 and 35,000 Balton in SDS-PAG, and band b was 50,000 dalton. When riving PAG electrophoresis for membrane proteins extracted from tumors, Western blotting,, and APCA reaction, each band a and b appeared at same position in electrophorigram and blotting paper. Using double immunodiffusion and immunoelectrophoresis, antibody A and B were only precipitated to membrane proteins extracted from transformed tumors. Therefore, we think the band a and b to be tumor-associated common proteins(antigens)
